Withrow University High School After-School Program

FamiliesFORWARD helps children become productive, independent, responsible citizens through school-based, family-centered programs.

Our extended-learning opportunities begin immediately after the regular school day ends. FamiliesFORWARD's After-School Program is designed to provide enrichment in the arts and music, social skills and academic support. We do not offer child care. We ask that parents commit to regular attendance after school so that your child or children can get the most out of each activity.

Our after-school activities are free to participating families. Our funding is provided through a variety of sources including United Way of Greater Cincinnati, private foundation support and government grants. Each program that FamiliesFORWARD operates has a maximum number of students who can be served. It is important for parents to follow the registration timelines and complete the registration materials in a timely manner to ensure that your child or children will be able to participate. The timeline for registration is included on the school calendar for each FamiliesFORWARD location on our website. If you need more information, click on Our Locations and the name of your school, and email one of our staff members for timelines and a registration form.

We respect the abilities and potential of all children who participate in our extended-learning opportunities. We expect our families to work with FamiliesFORWARD After-School Program staff to ensure the success of each child. Our code of conduct is intended to allow everyone participating in FamiliesFORWARD's After-School Program to have fun and grow in a safe, positive environment.
