Kings Island thrills for FamiliesFORWARD students

Forty-six FamiliesFORWARD After-School Program students—and 10 agency staff members and chaperones—spent a beautiful summer day June 28 experiencing the rides as part of the annual AAA Children’s Outing at Kings Island.

It was the 109th year for the event, which is funded by donations from AAA members and others. Hundreds of children from across Greater Cincinnati participate each year. FamiliesFORWARD has participated in the event for more than 15 years.

The students rode buses to and from the amusement park and also enjoyed an all-you-can-eat lunch.
