Hundreds of boys, including students from Bond Hill Academy and Evanston Academy, participated Feb. 12, 2012, in the First Annual All-City Boychoir Festival.
The Cincinnati Boychoir, along with FamiliesFORWARD, offers an after-school choir program for boys at Bond Hill and Evanston academies.
The day was filled with music, singing, friends and fun and was capped off with a free concert for parents and supporters. Boys in first through fourth grades and their teachers were invited to attend and sing with the Cincinnati Boychoir, conducted by Christopher Eanes.
While the boys rehearsed, KellyAnn Nelson, the Boychoir’s director of education and outreach, conducted a workshop—“Music Theory in Motion!—for elementary music teachers.
Each boy received a T-shirt and a pizza lunch for participating.
